The Northwest Maritime Academy Announces its Combined PSC Ltd., & Able Seaman Course
Although experience at sea remains an important part of becoming an Able Body Seaman, it is no longer enough to just “serve your time.”
You want your AB, but you cant get it without your PSC or PSCRB, and you don’t have either. If you work for the Ferries, or in the Tug & Barge industry, you don’t train on Lifeboats so acquiring your AB and proficiency in survival craft & rescue boats via sea-time won’t work, so the only obvious choice is to take PSC, Ltd., and an AB course.
