Advance your maritime career with our USCG-approved Able Seafarer (formerly Able Seaman AB) Telepresence Course.
This live instructor-led program allows students to attend the same classroom sessions simultaneously with in-person students while participating remotely from home or another suitable location.
Unlike self-paced online training, this course provides real-time interaction with professional maritime instructors and fellow mariners throughout the entire training program. Students receive the same instruction, course materials, and support as those physically attending in the classroom.
The telepresence format has become especially popular among working mariners because it significantly reduces travel costs, hotel expenses, meal costs, rental car expenses, and time away from family while still maintaining a highly engaging classroom environment.
Course examinations are conducted securely through the ExamSoft testing platform, which allows students to complete required testing remotely in a controlled and professional manner.
